Justice & Accountability

Shasta County cannot be safe if our justice system is stretched so thin that victims wait for answers while offenders cycle in and out with accountability delayed far too long.

That is exactly what is happening today. Our District Attorney’s Office is filled with professionals who work tirelessly for this community, but they are understaffed, overburdened, and fighting an uphill battle. Cases stack up because there simply aren’t enough prosecutors — and while those files sit waiting, the same offenders continue committing the same crimes, harming more families and more neighborhoods.

We’ve had enough.

This revolving door isn’t justice.
It isn’t accountability.
And it is absolutely not what victims deserve.

When someone becomes the victim of a crime — violence, abuse, theft, or exploitation — they deserve one thing: justice delivered swiftly, fairly, and fully.

My Commitment to Strengthening Justice

Delivering real public safety starts with giving prosecutors, investigators, and victim advocates the support they need to do their jobs — and to do them well.

Restore Staffing & Resources

I will fight to ensure the DA’s Office has the staffing and tools required to recruit, retain, and support skilled prosecutors — so justice is no longer delayed.

Prioritize Repeat Offenders

I will prioritize high-impact and repeat-offender cases so we can finally break the cycle of crime before it spreads into more neighborhoods.

Hold Offenders Accountable

I will work to ensure that perpetrators are not endlessly released back into our community due to system overload. Public safety demands follow-through.

Stand With Victims

I will ensure victims receive the communication, support, and timely resolution they deserve — honoring their courage instead of compounding their trauma with delays.

Our prosecutors want to do their jobs.
Our victims deserve closure.
Our community deserves safety.

Shasta County cannot move forward if our justice system is stuck in neutral.

As your Supervisor, I will fight to ensure the DA’s Office has the tools, staffing, and resources necessary to deliver justice — because public safety isn’t a talking point. It’s a promise.

And it’s a promise I intend to keep — because we’ve had enough.
